Family Traditions and Values – How Children Are Happier With Them

The hustle and bustle was all around;
All the creatures were stirring with deafening sound.
With years of Cyberspace at the touch of their fingers,
No one could foresee the dangers that lingered.

Faster and faster each year they would go,
Till the fastest connection seemed way too slow.
No longer did anyone need company around.
Who needs a friend when there’s so much to be found?

China Doll

Gazing intently out to a mysterious world, waiting for an enchantment to being.
She is my China Doll.

Her beauty is fragile, never to be touched by human hands. Never to be seen by human eyes.
She is delicate my China Doll.

Her finely chiseled features and delicate golden eyes, shield themselves from others.
She does not want to be shattered, my China Doll.

The shell she is in at any given moment may break, leaving her heart open and frightened.
What will she do then, my China Doll.

Her soul is ready to take flight, but her wings have only soared once and then they were broken.
Who will heal my little China Doll?

She loves, she lives, and her heart is like fine rice paper, ready to crumble at the slightest touch.
Her strength comes from pain, my China Doll.

She remains hidden under sheathes of satin, waiting for a velvet touch to set her free.
She is ready to feel again, my little China Doll.

A Warm Glow

A warm glow mingles in my soul;
Gently caressing my heart.
I feel the powerful presence of a being over me.
I glance up and you are there.

I Feel the strength of you in me;
Easing the frailty of my life.
Eyes pierce the core of my deepest emotions;
I feel their touch wounding me slightly.

A hand on my silent flesh, burns, leaving it’s mark behind.
Icy word freeze my passion.
Strong sweet smells linger in the distance.

A Sister’s Sonnet

Sad and sorrowful, gloomy rhyme;
Is cast upon with dismal hue.
No one left without a clue.
Living, ceaseless, endless time.

A Lonely Pebble

A lonely pebble falls;
The River rafted wails;
Inside my prison walls;
Are many a torrid tale.
The life that ebbs beneath me;
The heart that aches within;
The bands wrap tighter and tighter;
Causing my life to spin.
No purpose left to keep the soul;
Bound to Earthly things;
The lasting silence takes it’s toll;
Silent cries, no wings.
Bound for glory some will say;
Hell not Heaven are past.
Deep within the heartache lays;
A death sleep now been cast.

Just Because

Just because I’m a girl, does not mean I like the color pink or shopping.
Just because I may be crying, does not mean I am sad.
Just because I am laughing in hushed tones, does not mean I am laughing at you.
Just because I smile, does not mean I want something.

Who Needs A Friend

The hustle and bustle was all around;
All the creatures were stirring with deafening sound.
With years of Cyberspace at the touch of their fingers;
No one could foresee the dangers that lingered.

Faster and faster each year they would go;
‘Till the fastest connection seemed way too slow.
No longer did anyone need company around;
Who needs a friend when there’s so much to be found?

Graduation Day Poem

All the dreams that have come and gone;
All the memories that will live on and on.
College days we though would last forever;
All the time we thought we’d be together.
Time seemed to slip by and then go away;
Now it’s graduation day.
